How Is Your Social Media Team Using the Cloud?

Depositphotos_11395139_s Social media allows your brand to reach a huge audience through blink-and-you'll-miss-it opportunities. The quick pace and visual style of social media means that you have countless chances to build wide-spread brand that generates your return on investment. However, it also means that all of your employees, from the intern to the CEO, need to be brand advocates.

As such, employees need access to up-to-date information to guarantee they are keeping up and spreading your unique brand message. The best way to make sure everyone is on brand is to utilize the cloud. Here are five cloud storage tips to achieve a unified brand:

Passwords

Store your passwords and handles for all of your social media accounts in one place. You can use a site like LastPass that allows you to load all of your secure passwords via cloud connection. This way your social media team can access your social accounts 24/7. Also, this eliminates any "sorry, I got locked out!" excuses.

Brand Identity

Speaking of no social excuses, make sure your brand identity always stays on point by securing documents on the cloud. Every company should have a social style guide, containing everything from brand fonts and colors to language, tone and messaging. By having documents containing your brand identity rules readily available, employees can have an always-on guide to brand language.

Transparency

Transparency is key in the digital age, so use the cloud as a way to track and save all the going-ons at your company. Whether it is a horrific customer service nightmare that your social strategist turned into a big win or PR leads from a fantastic influencer, document everything and save it on the cloud.

Why save everything? Having everything openly available to all employees, from the CEO to the new hire, helps you have a uniform brand image. The cloud also is secure, which makes sure any confidential information stays confidential. Also, because cloud documents are live (or updated and saved in real time), your employees can leave relevant comments and add content at any time. Then, your whole social squad can access this information and decide what to implement.

Share Big Files

Remember when you had to visit your lawyer before opening up your LLC? Where did those documents go? Don't worry about this problem again by storing your important legal documents on the cloud. Because giant files do little more than occupy much-needed space on your computer, the cloud is an ideal place to keep them. Not only can no one break in and make off with the only copies of your secure documents, but you'll also be able to access these highly-sensitive documents whenever and wherever you need them. Dropbox is a good cloud service for this type of documentation because it gives you a lot of storage space and it uses 256-bit AES encryption with two-step verification. This means you can store large files safely.

No matter what your storage needs are for your business, the cloud is a good place to keep everything organized and accessible for your entire company. If you still are having trouble deciding on the right service for you, check out Top 10 Cloud Storage for reviews, prices and more information.
