Augmented reality, also known as AR, is a technology where users use a device, typically a phone, to overlay images into their view of the real world. Popular uses of augmented reality have been the insanely popular Pokemon Go, as well as Amazon's feature "See in Your Room" which allows you to see how furniture or TVs would look like in your spaces.
