Videos can often embody important messages you are trying to convey to your potential buyers. The vast amount of creativity that can be placed in visuals can cause a large impact on your marketing campaign. First, you must know how to customize your videos along the platforms. If you do not know the video requirements of the platforms you are wishing to use, you may have a problem. This is why I am here to inform you about the social media video guidelines.
Social Media Video Guideline
Facebook: You have 45 minutes or less to do as you please so make sure that it’s also about 1.75GB or less.
Instagram: 60 seconds or less and you’re golden. This is more time than the original 15 seconds so use it wisely. Or not.
Snapchat: What can you do with 10 seconds or less? Don’t try to go over that or else your video will get cut. No exceptions.
Tumblr: Upload a 5 minute video or less and you will be in Tumblrs good graces. Just make sure that the file size is 100MB or else you’ll be denied.
Twitter: Make sure that your video is 30 seconds or under with a 512MB file size or less. You don’t have to use your phone to post it either. Upload straight from your desktop.
Vine: With the shortest clip length of 6 seconds, built in edits, and effects available at your fingertips, make sure you’re using those seconds to your full advantage.
Youtube: Without verifying your account, you can upload a video up to 15 minutes long. Once you verify your account however and increase your limit, the sky is the limit. Also, an awesome place to helpful tutorials for editing.
Now that I have provided the guidelines, you will now be able to effectively post your videos. Remember, each platform differs on what they allow. Your videos can be the most creative clips ever known to man but they will be useless if you do not follow the guidelines of the social media platform. I hope this information has been helpful.
