Electronic sports, or more commonly called E-Sports, is an ever growing market. Everyday millions of people are tuning into livestreams or live events. With this number of people watching at once, it creates prime position for advertisers to show off their products.
Back in 2013, the U.S. decided to recognize E-Sports participants as athletes. Many of them have sponsors from Red Bull to the types of keyboards and consoles that the gamers will use while competing. Many colleges have started to offer scholarships to students participating in E-Sports.
