Programs dedicated to entrepreneurship in universities are growing and attracting invaluable students every day. In fact, the first course designed for entrepreneurship students alone was founded in 1927. Since then entrepreneurship has flourished to be a top program in many business schools, but not all offer this program. If your university does not have a program just for entrepreneurship, here are some reasons you should get on board.

This allows universities with an entrepreneurship program to target remarkable student candidates and keep them. Many entrepreneurs attended a school that was not their number one pick because of the lack of programs dedicated to serve them specifically.

Starting a business at a university is not always easy but it gives students the best building blocks to expand and learn. Students will learn early on the fundamental components of entrepreneurship with like minded people. Students who start a business while they are in school have more opportunities to network and build important relationships with other students they may need to complete their business dream.

Global exchange programs allow universities to become a name beyond their country and partner with elite schools abroad. Not only will you be helping the students broaden their cultural and professional backgrounds, you will be introducing your school to students from other countries. Your institution will foster relationships with those that you partner with and they will become another way to market your university to quality students.
